("Seller Africa," "FreshRoots," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the FreshRoots directory and related services (the "Platform"), whether as a Farmer or a Buyer member. By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described here.

- To maintain platform security and prevent fraud or misuse
- To improve the Platform based on aggregated usage patterns
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain account and transaction-related information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. You may request deletion of your account as described in Section 8.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to receive a copy of it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the details in Section 12. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
9. Cross-Border Data
Seller Africa operates across the United States, the United Kingdom, Nigeria, and Caribbean diaspora corridors. Information collected through the Platform may be processed or stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we apply appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
10. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child, we will take steps to delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
