Step 1:  A U.S. Dollar account is required to sell on Sellerafrica. Sign up with one of our partners and get a U.S. dollar account.

Step 2: Register with Sellerafrica Marketplace
Once you have your Payoneer account number and meet the rest of the seller requirements, your next step is to fill out our forms and tell us you are interested in selling on Sellerafrica. Sign up here. We will review your account and work with you to complete the entire process of registration.

Step 3: Get trained on the Sellerafrica Marketplace
We will work with you and provide online training and guided assistance to help you understand everything you need to know to be a successful seller on the Sellerafrica Marketplace.
Step 4: Set up your catalog, load your inventory and be ready to receive orders
Once you understand the basics of the Sellerafrica Marketplace, you will be ready to load your catalog, provide an inventory feed and receive orders.

To sell on Sellerafrica, here are the basics requirements that a seller must have:
1. U.S.-based bank account
*If you already have a Payoneer account, you can tell us that you are interested in joining our marketplace now by clicking here and providing us your information to review.
2. Valid Identification Card issued by the government
* Your BVN/NIN Identification number is required to be submitted during the registration.
* Certificate of business incorporation and tax information for business owners
3. Local bank address
*You will be required to provide the business address of your bank
4. Chamber of Commerce & Certifications Requirement
*The vendor must be associated with a recognized Chamber of Commerce, NEPC, or other SME-focused agencies.
Relevant certifications must be in place for products within that category, e.g., NAFDAC.
5. Product Delivery to Lagos Warehouse
*The vendor is responsible for getting their products to our warehouse in Lagos, Nigeria, and other designated shipping partners in Africa.
6. Warehousing Fee
*The vendor must warehouse with us and pay a warehousing fee of $20 per month.
7. Storefront Registration & Product Upload
*The vendor opens their storefront by filling out the registration form and uploading the necessary documentation and bank details. Upon approval, the vendor can upload pictures of their products.
Please note: We do not guarantee that every seller that has the above minimum requirements will be approved to sell on Sellerafrica.
Can I sell on Sellerafrica if I don’t have a Payoneer account?
Yes, if you already are established in the United States with a business presence here and already use a US dollar bank account, then you can let us know you’re interested by clicking here. However, if you do not have a US dollar bank account, you will need to sign up with Payoneer.

Do I need a Valid Identification Number and tax information to sell on Sellerafrica
Yes, a government issued identification is required to be submitted during the registration process. If you don’t have a Tax ID and would like to get one, check the tax agency of your country to apply for tax iD
Can I ship from the U.S.?
Yes, we allow orders from within the US. Our system accepts all shipments originatIng from within and outside the US.
What are the requirements if I’m fulfilling orders from the US?
A Valid U.S. Employer Identification Number issued by the IRS or a W-8 to be submitted during registration and a U.S.-based bank account.
